Achievement of a comfortable and functional office space at a new development base for business expansion in India.

Toyoda Gosei Unominda India (hereafter referred to as TGUMI), which supplies interior and exterior parts, airbags, steering wheels, weatherstrip products, and functional components to automobile manufacturers in India, was considering the launch of a new development base in Manesar to expand its business in India.
For this project, the design to use the first floor as a development and testing area, the second floor as office space, and to construct a new third floor utilizing the rooftop to function as a cafeteria had been predetermined. However, completing the construction within the limited timeframe was a challenge. Although the land and building had already been secured, selecting an appropriate vendor was essential to complete the project as planned.
TGUMI decided that KDDI could reliably meet their desired deadlines and selected KDDI India. Through regular communication with KDDI India's sales representatives, TGUMI recognized that KDDI India was capable of providing an end-to-end service, from creating office concepts and designs to project management and final handover. Furthermore, KDDI India's design approach emphasized TGUMI's request to create a "comfortable and functional” space, which was another reasons for the selection.

Despite the extremely tight project schedule, KDDI India conducted daily meetings based on a meticulously crafted work plan. By closely coordinating with multiple vendors across India involved in the project, KDDI India ensured that the construction was completed within the limited timeframe.
The designed office space reflects TGUMI's various preferences and requirements. The office area features a unified and modern aesthetic throughout the space. Additionally, soundproof meeting rooms were installed to ensure quiet environments for phone calls, creating a workspace conducive to focus and productivity. By renovating the rooftop and establishing a cafeteria, the project provided an open and efficient environment to support a modern working style. Throughout the design, the project respected India's cultural value of honoring the national flag by incorporating flag-inspired colors into the space, further enhancing the connection to the local culture.
By incorporating custom-made desks with a focus on height and greenery, a more comfortable workspace has been created. The layout has also been carefully designed to allow Managers to have a clear view of the entire office.
